General objectives:

Enabling the 5-Days-Car by customised mechatronics and decentralised planning

AC+DC is an integrated research project funded by the European Commission that aims at developing a concept, which radically enhances automotive manufacturing. Objective of the project is to support the delivery of a customer-ordered car within five days by novel approaches concerning product technology as well as production planning and execution. Additionally, the novel approach will be validated using the characteristic component of a future modular chassis as a master.
